The PMP MP4 Player has landed ?complete with a full array of multimedia functions, including video and audio playback. With a 20GB hard drive for storage, it is capabale of holding a huge library of music & photos as well as a decent length video. This machine comes with the leads to plug into a TV set and comes supplied with a remote control as well. Apart from the obvious use of played back videos, it enables the lucky owners of this device to view pictures taken on a digital camera (and transferred to the PMP unit) full size on a television set. In addition, the PMP unit has a 'Mic In' enabling the recording of mp3 files straight onto the unit without the use of a computer! The package includes A/V cables for input and output, AC power adapter, leatherette case, USB 2.0 cable, headphones and printed user manual.
The user interface is straightforward and easy to navigate. The scroll through screens take you through playing videos (usually a recorded DVD takes between 1.3-2.0 gig of space), playing music, viewing photos and even the function of reading stored e-books. Copying music and video from the computer is super fast, thanks to USB 2.0.
In design the unit is just small enough to fit in a pocket. Is solidly built and comes with a good protective case. Also included is a remote control unit for easy navigation when on the move.
