Invented in 1783, Sudoku puzzles have only just become popular in the UK and the US very recently. They do not require mathematics, only logic reasoning and deduction. From the numbers already provided the numbers 1-9 must be written in each of the mini square grids of nine squares, making sure that at no time a number is repeated in a line running either horizontally or vertically within the large grid. Two books are offered: an adult version of 1,000 puzzles (the largest currently in print) with 3 different difficulty levels and a child's version containing 500 puzzles. Paperback, 20cm.
