The latest gadget for MSN users! i-Buddy is a cute little figure you attach to your computer which becomes a physical representation of your buddies on email. Especially designed for Windows Live Messenger (MSN Messenger) users you can programme it to recognize a particular buddy account, and it responds to all messages and status events sent from your buddy.
So what is it?
I-buddy is 3-inches tall and connects to your computer using a USB cable. It has been designed so that it doesn't use too much disk space. Your i-Buddy can be fixed to the top of your monitor with the clamp that's included in the box.
How does it work?
> Someone sends you a message
> i-Buddy detects the emotions in the message
> appropriate actions will be played
What does it do?
> i-Buddy has an online alert in the form of a a red glowing heart which tells you when a message has arrived.
>The body twists on the base depending on the emotion it has detected in the message.
> For example, the wings flap if it's happy, it spins vigorously on the base, and its head flashes several colours; if it's sad its wings flap slightly, only two colours flash and it spins on the base more slowly.
